THE TONE IS IN THE CONE
A very specific speaker (CODE:V12PC129) was made specially for the quad reverb by Utah. These speakers are very rare, not many were ever made. With it's undersized magnets, and 16 ohm voice coil, nothing else sounds quite like it.

Recorded with 1940's vintage microphones for striking accuracy and tone. You'll reconize that sound everytime you load an I.R.
